The campaign developed in response to the Google Fonts/The Typographic Circle D&AD New Blood brief aims to make light of a hidden issue highlighting the severity and environmental impact of oil spills at sea, raising awareness of a key issue in the underreporting of smaller scale non-tanker oil spills. Each outcome aims to provoke an interest and encourage further research and analysis of a key issue that currently is largely under reported and undocumented. Silent Sea is presented in a number of forms that aim to illustrate and bring to life the key themes contained within Boast's poem.
